About Us

Deladem is an Associate at Legal Anchor. She was called to the Bar in 2022 after graduating from the Ghana School of Law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws(LL.B) degree from the University of Ghana, Legon. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts(B.A.) in Philosophy and Psychology from the same university. During her course of study at the University of Ghana, she spent a year abroad at the University of Vermont as an international student. Deladem was the recipient of the Lebanse Women’s Association Scholarship for outstanding academic work for the 2012 academic year at the University of Ghana. She served as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Philosophy and Classics. Deladem has worked as a Research Assistant on a number of research projects including the Mellon Project on Multipartism, Social Fragmentation and Nation Building and the NeuroGEN Project which was a collaboration between the University of Ghana and the Oxford University on understanding attitudes towards behaviours associated with psychosis and its treatment in Ghana. In 2022, she co-authored an article titled ‘Traditional authority, nation building and decentralization in African States: A change in perspective which was published in the Journal of Philosophy and Culture”(May 2022). Deladem practises in areas of the law such as conveyancing, commercial litigation, labour law, land litigation, debt recovery. Deladem loves to research and enjoys the dynamics of civil procedure and evidence. She is critical, pays attention to detail, amiable and observes high ethical values and professional standards.
