Portia, a partner of the firm, was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Ghana and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom in Labour Law.

She is an experienced corporate and investment lawyer as well as a labour consultant. Additionally, Portia serves as Company Secretary for a number companies in Ghana and is an experienced boardroom practitioner.

Her normal line of duties include the provision corporate legal advisory and consultancy services. In discharging these duties, she drafts, reviews legal documents, agreements and legal opinions.

She also assists corporate clients with compliance issues, legal due diligence, company secretarial due diligence, immigration, liquidation issues and advising investors looking to establish businesses in Ghana(including  incorporation and registration with the Ghana Investment Centre and other regulatory agencies).

Portia’s has attended several seminars and conferences. She is a deep thinker and an astute problem solver.
